I have been looking through the Hong Kong file and I find the Fire Brigade Directive has not been revised.

Paragraphs 1 and 2 must come out as these are statements of fact which should appear either in your Manual or Departmental Manual. This leaves the remaining paragraphs which I have renumbered. I see no objection to these.

2. Do you wish to revise or add to this Directive in any way? If not, I will have copies made of the Directive as revised on the 17/8/44.
